The tagline did the work here: a single ember can spark a storm. So the piece is one storm lit from inside, and the ember is the only warm colour on it. Everything else stays cold blue and black, which means one single word and color carry the whole concept.
A promo graphic isn’t a cover. It has one job: to stop the scroll and make the title stick at thumbnail size. Different problem, different build, and it’s why a cropped cover so rarely works as a banner.
